2010 Pittsburgh Open
Updated: 12/16 11:48PM

After great success hosting a professional squash tournament in 2009, Pittsburgh will continue the tradition this fall by hosting the 2010 Pittsburgh Open Professional Squash tournament.  Attracting professional squash players from around the world, the 2010 Pittsburgh Open promises to be an exciting event for Pittsburgh’s squash community and for the city as a whole.  Invented in England, squash is a rapidly growing game across the world, with the Egyptians currently dominating the top rankings.  The sport is growing fast in the United States as well, and Pittsburgh has a vibrant and enthusiastic squash community of more than 300 active players.

We are pleased to offer you the opportunity to be a part of this exciting event, which will be conducted at the Rivers Club in downtown Pittsburgh as part of a Pro-Am event with Pittsburgh’s fall amateur tournament, the Buchanan Open.  The combination of these two events means that your support of the Pittsburgh Open will be recognized by an even broader audience.  I hope you will join us and become an integral part of the success of an event that promises to boost the sport of squash and further enhance the national and international profile of our city and our sponsors.
